The Stunning Assortment of Links that Feature Myself, Allison Bates

(I know that the page design here is hardly as exciting as it ought to be, considering that I actually enjoy doing web design, but since this page is more a time killer than anything else, it becomes spiffier as I become less engaged with the world around me. I also drew the little picture on this page, which gets to live here because it's in more colors than black, white, and blue.)

Citizenship Courses at Monmouth College- I know that this website isn't really that fancy looking, but I spent my summer building it and working on it, so I want to put it here and be a show off. I'm continually updating it throughout the school year, and if I ever get permission, I am going to build a page for the school's Student Senate, too.

iShopGalesburg.com- This is a local commerce website which is very interesting and also prints some of my writing, including short stories and film reviews.

My Deviant Art Page- This is the main page where I, under the screen name of missy-tannenbaum, dump off all of the cross stitch projects that I do, as well as some of my drawings.

Anime Cross Stitch Patterns- This is a very spiffy website for anime cross stitch patterns, run by Little Mojo of New Zealand. I make very good use of it, both for finding new projects to work on and for having some of the patterns that I've made hosted, again under the user name of missy-tannenbaum.

A Blog Article My Work Was Featured In- The link title for this is pretty self-explanatory, but my cross stitching was featured on this blog, Crafty Crafty, in May of 2008. It's a small article, but it was published on some other blogs afterwards and it was all terribly exciting.

Another Blog Article About My Cross Stitching- This blog entry, via Sprite Stitch, is the original that the Crafty Crafty article saw my work in. It's incredibly spiffy, as Sprite Stitch is a major video game crafting site and was even featured in Nintendo Power!

A Wiki Linking to My Deviant Art Page- This page of Pac-Man cross stitch patterns from an early 80s flyer features one of my cross stitchings from said flyer. It's part of a larger wiki, covering all sorts of interesting nerdy stuff, run by Geoff Fortytwo. Plus, there is copious Pac-Man content.
