Introduction
In the past few years the development of the New Food Pyramid has been watched with great enthusiasm by health teachers and professionals. One of the features of this pyramid is the addition of exercise showing the importance of weight management as well as a balanced diet. It upholds the same principles as the old and includes the same categories such as; Grains, Vegetables, Fruits, Milk, Meat & Beans and oils, but is positioned differently according to the New Pyramids design.
