Nature is something that is in the news all the time now-a-days. Global Warming, oil drilling, artic snow geese, mad cow disease, etc. Nature is something that comes up as the subject of poetry over and over and over and over.
Why do you think this is?
What about nature is so powerful?
What are some experiences that you have had in nature?
Have any of you ever felt a special connection with a certain place in nature?
In the fall and the spring when I go for walks I often feel a special connection with nature. This connection with nature is one of the themes that is explored in Romantic Poetry.
