1.)   What do you like BEST about this course and why?

For the first half of the class we were more discussion based. We compared and contrast religions in general and talked about our own beliefs. We need more of that we need to understand were we stand on various religious questions. To understand the ancient world we need to focus more on how this relates to us. The issue about human sacrifice sparked debates and question which is good. That is what an ISSI class should be about.

2.)   What do you like LEAST about this course and why?

Lately we moved into a more lecture style setting. Unfortunately this style wasn’t the one I was exposed to at the start of the class. I was excepting more discussion based class. I feel that this is one of the best ways to learn. Rory wanted to bring something up to the class that didn’t have to do with the topic but was religion centered. I believe he wanted to do this because we the students wanted a little more say in the class. We want to explore and we want you to come with us. But the last 2-3 classes we started to go back to a more discussion class.
