INTRODUCTION:
This Web Quest is design for a 7th grade Spanish-class. It gives students a chance to explore a culture different from their own, to explore their own personal identity. It also assists students with the comprehension of the preterit verb tense.

 

EXTENSIONS:
Using the research the students found on his or her country, students can create travel brochures to confines other to visits they country. Students can use their finish diaries in the future to practice different verbs tenses.

 

CURRICULUM STANDARDS:
 STATE GOAL 28:  Use the target language to communicate within and beyond the classroom setting.
     D.  Use the target language to present information, concepts and ideas for a variety of
     purposes to different audiences.
          28.D.3b  Present findings from research on unfamiliar topics (e.g., the Roman army, the
          French chateaux, origins of chocolate).
