Grassland

In the Grassland biome, the land supports the growth of many types of grasses rather than an abundance of trees and shrubs like those found in forests. Grasslands are found all over the world. There are two types of grasslands, Temperate grasslands and Savannahs.
Savannahs are grassland that also are scattered with various types of, although not as many as forest. Much of the continent of Africa is covered by savannah.
Temperate grassland are those grassland with are almost completely void of trees. An example of a Temperate grassland is the central plains of the United States
