The steps involved in submitting your paper are simple:
• Go to www.turnitin.com.
• Click on “New Users” (if you haven’t used Turnitin.com before). The site gives you easy directions to follow. You can also review user information and tutorials here if you wish—although the system is pretty simple to use.
(Note: if you previously registered for Turnitin.com but have lost your password, click on “Password Help” and follow the directions; your password will be sent to you.)
• After creating your profile, login as a student user and click on “join a new class.”
• Follow the directions for joining.
• Once you have joined the class, you will see your class listed by name and ID number on the page titled “Your Classes.” Click on the class title and then click on “turn it in!” Be sure that you are selecting the correct assignment from the list below the “paper title” box.
• Follow directions for submitting your paper by either “browsing” your hard drive or “F:” drive for the file; you can also copy and paste the outline into the box provided.
• Click on “submit” and you’re done.
