• Critiques:
  Individual critiques are held during evaluation of each project.  You are encouraged to actively seek conversation with the instructor.  After the first fire we will have a group critique where we discuss the current projects from the kiln.  We will looking for works that we may use to discuss glazing and aesthetic concerns so students may think about these issues in regards to the final 30% of the grade in the course.  Goal: The goal for critique is to engage the student in active exploration of the works being discussed thereby increasing your abilities to evaluate the artwork.  You will be given time to write down some ideas about your work and/or the glazed works before the critique begins to help you think about what it is you may wish to say.
