Grading Percentages:

Considerations for the final grade in the course are calculated using the percentages below.  Please note in order to pass this class you must construct  all of the projects.  In addition to the categories listed below students are expected to clean the studio on a regular sustained basis and thoroughly at the end of the semester.  

Individual projects are due on the dates listed in the calendar.  Late work may receive lowered grades.

Firing, glazing, aesthetic considerations  for wheel thrown ceramics	30%
Sketchbook, midterm exam and final exam/essay	20%
Continuous Studio Maintenance throughout the semester and participation in final clean-up.  Students who do not participate in consistent and continuous studio maintenance will NOT pass this course!	(required)
